Okay, so Hillary didn't concede. She didn't even say she's suspending her campaign BUT it's irrefutably over. And all but some really bitter ladies who were stashed 3 floors below(where there was no blackberry reception nor TV to see the worldwide headlines saying Obama IS the Presumptive Nominee) for her Primary Speech... know it too.
I'm convinced , despite what she said, despite what Howard Fineman said**, she was just pivoting to demand VP.
Now, the General election season starts.
McCain officially acknowledged he will face Obama NOT Hillary tonight in Kenner, Louisiana (only a few miles away from my hometown) with possibly one of the most heartless human beings on earth and possible VP choice , Bobby Jindal.
Obama declares "This is our moment, this is our time" and most importantly took back the night as it should have been, a celebration of this monumental historical moment. So elated, I end my post with one of my Favorite Obama stories retold recently at a Rally this weekend. Fired Up, Ready to Go! Here's him telling it, Labor Day 2007.
Now,"Let's go change the world..."
** Wonkette described as thus "HOWARD FINEMAN ON MSNBC: “The Obama people are saying they’ll only offer Hillary the job [of vice president] if she agrees not to take it.” This, friends, is what the MSNBC hosts describe as bukkake kabuki theater."
I have to admit I did not know what Bukkake meant more than a year and half ago but now because I've been told, this just seems wrongly the funniest thing I've read all night.
